Coastal Path - Pendeen has the coastal path running through the village so put on your walking boots or shoes and discover this exceptional part of the Cornish coast for yourself

Sandcastles & Picnics-
Boat Cove is a quaint small cove with a sandy beach which is Dog- Friendly being only a short walk from Pendeen Lighthouse in the village

Portheras Cove- A lovely sandy beach larger than nearby Boat Cove . Park At Pendeen Lighthouse and take the coastal path one mile East to Portheras

Tuck In-
There are two pubs in Pendeen
The Radjel Inn- Friendly Traditional Old Cornish Pub serving a large selection of Real Ales and good food including Sunday lunch

The North Inn- Traditional Old Cornish Pub which won a CAMRA award in 2003
Both pubs are within walking distance of Dougal's Cottage

Mousehole-
The quaint fishing village of Mousehole is within 15 minutes drive from the cottage . A delightful unspoilt village with harbour and sandy beach .Explore this lovely village with it's old Cornish cottages of all shapes and sizes , art galleries and gifts and cosy places to eat including a Harbour front Pub . You may have time to visit the Mousehole Bird Sanctuary situated up a steep hill

Fresh Fish Catch Of The Day At Newlyn-
Treat yourself to fresh Crab and an abundance of freshly caught fish from the harbour side Fishmongers in this attractive town . Stop for a spot of lunch at Mackeral Sky on the bridge serving fabulous freshly caught fish delights eat outside or inside . Visit the cheese shop , pasty shop, bakery, butchers, and cafes and galleries dotted around .
